Responsible for taking ownership of all Front of House operations while growing the business through a strong front of house team, an exceptional customer experience, elevated product offerings, sales growth and cost management.
Uphold company brand and community driven mission ensuring all front of house decisions align with company brand and goals. Create a welcoming and positive environment for both customers and our team. Address customer service issues through positive interactions.
Lead, develop, train and mentor front of house team and provide clear, consistent communication and direction to create a positive and productive work environment. Develop, amend and uphold company policies and procedures. Encourage and provide front of house team with growth opportunities. Hire and schedule the front of house team ensuring the right people are in place to support and help grow the business.
Understand, create, analyze and monitor financial reporting including but not limited to budgets, cost of goods, labor to sales and all Profit & Loss lines to ensure costs are sustainable. Create revenue generating initiatives and be able to analyze and document resulting statistics. Pay vendors, manage Quickbook expenses, run weekly payroll and monthly tax reporting.
Maintain proper inventory for taproom operations. Develop item specials and maintain accurate menus and online store. Troubleshoot taproom issues and handle basic repairs and maintenance of equipment as necessary.
Acquire advanced knowledge in coffee and beer and use that knowledge to further accelerate growth within the company. Attend industry events as a representative of the company to network and grow knowledge base. Participate in community events to raise brand awareness.
This position reports directly to two owners and works closely with owners, production team and event/social media coordinator in addition to the front of house team.
