Spent Coffee Grounds

Spent Coffee Grounds

Spent Coffee Grounds

After our freshly roasted coffee is brewed we are left with spent coffee grounds that can be repurposed for a variety of different uses.

From garden fertilizer, compost and insect/pest repellant to cleaning scrubs, natural dyes and skin exfoliators, there are many ways to give new life to these used coffee grounds.

PakTech Recycling

Spent Coffee Grounds

Because of their size, shape and quantity PakTech carriers placed in curbside recycling bins typically end up in landfills as they can’t properly be sorted at recycling facilities.

A better option is to drop your used 4-pack carriers off at our taproom and we will wash, sanitize and reuse them!

Spent Grain

Spent Grain

Our biggest source of waste in the brewery comes in the form of spent grain.

Once a week we have a local farmer pick up our leftover mash which gets used to feed over one hundred chickens.

Anything that the chickens don't eat goes back into the ground in the form of compost.
